Meet Rebekah. If you ask her, she would probably tell you she is simply a daughter, big sister, and friend. Honestly, those last three sum up Bekah pretty well. ;-)  She truly does radiate with joy and contentment, serving wholeheartedly wherever she is.  Being an oldest sister, she has many sweet little faces that watch and learn from the beautiful example she sets daily of love and self-sacrifice. Although to her family her heart is definitely most devoted, she's also found following other interests whether it be making music on the piano, singing praise, delving into her herbal studies/or other natural healing book, tending to her herb garden, or in the kitchen preparing a nutritious meal (yes, often times using those herbs from her garden!). She is a wonderful blessing to our family. =D

Bekah wanted to shoot her senior pictures at a local lake, which we did on your typical fall day. Overcast. Cold. Aaannd no lovely golden sunlight. But you make do with what you have, and we actually ended up liking the results of the soft, overcast light. Even so, we took a few more another evening right as the sun was setting...

  3. Oh my goodness! These are stunning. Whoa. My favorites *were* all the ones near the trees until I saw the ones set in the field. Just plain gorgeousness. :)

  4. Love, LOVE them! The one where she's laughing is so cute and sweet. Also love the one where she's sitting in the field and looking down, quietly dramatic. Good job Anna!

  6. Oh, I know what you mean, when Catherine and I took pictures in Colorado they were all in the shade and I had hoped (veeery much) for golden sunlight...even though my sister tried to convince me that overcast lighting was better...and it was nice. Yours turned out very well too. =D
I too like the group of pictures where she's by the tree. =)
And I love how the sunset pictures fade to white at the top, and the orangey/coral sunset... and the beautiful sister. =)

  10. Anna,
These pictures are precious and just radiate the joy Rebekah finds in Christ alone. She is the most beautiful young lady (inside and out!) and looks so much like your mom! These shots are wonderful and it's always neat to see the unique shades that a beautiful sunset adds. Wonderful job!

  12. Just stunning! I adore the last three with the creamy white shirt and blurry pastel background. Such a great color combination.
